DescriptionThis dataset contains a subset of the model output used in the study titled "Quantifying Water Transformation in the Barents Sea Using a High-Resolution Oc\ean Simulation". To ensure data reproducibility and manageability, the original model results have been processed into monthly means and subsetted to focus\ on the study area (the Barents Sea). ## 2. File Information- File Name Pattern: yYYYY.h5 (e.g., y2000.h5, y2001.h5)- File Format: HDF5 (.h5)- Temporal Resolution: Monthly averages- Temporal Coverage: 1990 to 2020- Spatial Coverage: the Barents Sea ## 3. Variable List and UnitsAll variables are stored in HDF5 format. Key variables included are:- [to]: Ocean Temperature [degC]- [so]: Salinity [psu]- [uo, vo]: Ocean Velocity (X-ward, Y-ward) [cm/s]- [aig]: Sea Ice Concentration [0-1]- [ui, vi]: Sea Ice Velocity (X-ward, Y-ward) [cm/s]- [fw]: Sea surface freshwater flux [cm/s]- [ft]: Sea surface heat flux [degC cm/s]- [longitude]: Longitude [degree E]- [latitude]: Latitude [degree N]- [depth]: depth [m] ## 4.
