Overall design: mouse articular chondrocytes were isolated from mouse femoral condyles and tibial plateaus cartilage tissue and infected with Ad-C(control) or Ad-Nox4 for 36 hours. Total RNA was extracted from primary mouse articular chondrocytes cultured with Ad-C (2 biological replicates) or Ad-Nox4 for 36 hours (2 biological replicates) and subjected to microarray analysis.
