On June 17th, 2024 Council passed a revision to our Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance creating a new regulatory boundary called the Regent Park Floodplain Overlay District. This overlay corresponds to the Regent Park Flood prone Area boundary that has already been mapped, but expands upon that flood prone boundary to encompass surrounding areas within the watershed. This overlay boundary will need to be included within both the One Map Viewer under the Floodplain layers and on the Floodplain Viewer so that staff and the public can reference properties that fall within this new district for regulatory purposes. We also need it for the CRS audit as we will be able to get new credit for our program for adding this additional regulated area.2024年6月17日，市议会通过了《洪水灾害预防条例》的修订案，新增一处名为「摄政公园洪泛区覆盖区（Regent Park Floodplain Overlay District）」的监管边界。该覆盖区与已完成测绘的摄政公园易涝区边界基本对应，但在此基础上进行了拓展，将流域内的周边区域纳入其中。该覆盖区边界需同时纳入「一张图查看器（One Map Viewer）」的洪泛区图层，以及「洪泛区查看器」中，以便工作人员与公众可针对监管需求，查询落入该新辖区的地块信息。此外，该边界也需用于社区评级系统（CRS）审计，因新增该监管区域可为本项目争取新的评级积分。
