Gene expression is more strongly associated with behaviour than with age and fertility in ant workers

We experimentally disentangled behavior (brood care vs. foraging), age (young vs. old), and fertility (fertile vs. infertile) in ant workers and investigated transcriptomic patterns linked to each factor independently.
