This dataset provides data references for enterprises, public institutions and individuals in the aquaculture industry when selecting patent agencies, to facilitate the screening of higher-quality patent agencies based on the invention patent authorization rate and patent agency service retention rate of agencies serving aquaculture-related businesses. The data algorithm rules are as follows: 1. Data Collection: Relevant information on invention patents applied by enterprises, public institutions and individuals in Taizhou's aquaculture industry is collected via third-party intellectual property retrieval websites, using filters including region, IPC classification codes of patents, patent titles, and patent agencies. 2. Data Processing: The collected raw data is cleaned and categorized by removing duplicate and incomplete records. 3. Data Calculation: Based on the processed data, the total number of aquaculture-related invention patents served by each agency, the number of closed invention patent cases (i.e., patents no longer under examination), and the number of granted invention patents are calculated. Two core metrics are then derived: - Invention patent authorization rate = Number of granted invention patents / Number of closed invention patent cases; - Patent agency service retention rate: The number of patents with unchanged agencies is counted by comparing the original and current patent agencies of each invention patent using the EXACT function. The retention rate is calculated as (Number of unchanged-agency invention patents) / Total number of aquaculture-related invention patents served by the agency. 4. Data Application: Provide data references for enterprises, public institutions and individuals in the aquaculture industry when selecting patent agencies, to facilitate the screening of higher-quality patent agencies based on the invention patent authorization rate and patent agency service retention rate of each agency serving aquaculture-related businesses.
