OVA-induced allergic asthma in mice shares many similar features with human asthma. The peptidomimetic PD00 can significantly improve OVA-induced asthma symptoms in mice. However, the molecular mechanism by which it works is still unclear. The metabolic status of immune cells affects their functional status, so single-cell transcriptome sequencing was used to explore the effect of PD00 on immune cell subsets and their metabolic pathways in OVA-treated mouse lung tissue.
