Pursuant to Article 16 of the Seed Law of the People's Republic of China, forest tree varieties examined, approved and certified by the National Forest Variety Approval Committee of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration may be used as forest tree improved varieties in forestry production as of the date of the announcement's release, and shall be promoted within the suitable planting scope stipulated in this announcement. For forest tree improved varieties that have passed certification, they shall not be continuously used as improved varieties upon the expiration of their certification period, and re-examination and approval of forest tree varieties shall be conducted.
