Characterization of the rna virome in hematophaging insects of suborder Nematocera of the Middle-North, Northeast sub-region Brazil

This study used a metagenomic-based approach to characterize the virome of wild caught adult female mosquitoes of the Aedes (Ae.), Culex (Cx.), Haemagogus (Hg.) and Sabethes (Sa.) genera from three locations in a transition area of North-Northeast Brazil.
