Ecological integrity indicators of Mediterranean arid riparian environments

The dataset contains a batery of indicators of ecological integrity in watercourses, as well as physical and chemical variables from 35 sampling points spread over three basins of the southeast berian Peninsula: the Adra river, Aguas and Almanzora. The data proceed from the GUADALMED project (Evaluation of the ecological status of Mediterranean rivers, campaigns winter and spring of 2000), and two sampling campaigns conducted in the winter and spring of 2011 in the project GLOCHARID (Program for the monitoring of the effects of Global Change in arid and semi-arid ecosystems of Andalusia). The data contains indicators based on aquatic macroinvertebrates, benthic diatoms, quality of riparian forest, river habitat and physical impacts.
