Liver cancer in ovo models

Using RNA-seq analysis, we have described in ovo liver cancer models providing the information that could help in preclinical research of new therapies for liver cancer. Overall design: The white leghorn chicken fertilized eggs were obtained. At EDD9, liver tumor cells were suspended in a graft medium and were deposited onto the CAM. On EDD18, the tumors were removed. The total RNA was extracted i) from the tumor in ovo samples (n=4 samples per each cell line), and ii) from in vitro tumor cell lines (n=3 samples per each cell line).
