The Effect of Pexidartinib on Neuropathic Pain via Influences on Microglia and Neuroinflammation in Mice

This dataset was generated to investigate the role of microglia and neuroinflammation in chronic pain and to evaluate the therapeutic potential of the CSF-1R inhibitor pexidartinib (PLX-3397). The dataset includes animal behavioral tests assessing pain-related responses, PET neuroimaging of microglial activity, and immunofluorescence analyses of microglia-related markers. Specifically, histological markers such as Iba-1, RIPK1, and iNOS were measured to characterize microglial changes and neuroinflammatory status. Together, this dataset provides a resource for studying how microglia depletion and reduced neuroinflammation contribute to pain modulation.
