The SEER*Stat database is part of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program of the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI). It collects cancer incidence data spanning from 1975 to 2023. Covering approximately 45.9% of the U.S. population, the database gathers clinical retrospective data including patient demographics, primary tumor site, tumor morphology, diagnosis stage, first-line treatment and other relevant clinical information, and provides follow-up information on patient survival status. The database offers two categories of data products: SEER Research Data, as well as SEER Research Plus and NCCR Data. Access to the latter requires user authentication via an eRA Commons or HHS account.
