High-resolution gridded rainfall dataset for Peru - PISCOp v2.1 update

Development of high-resolution daily and monthly gridded rainfall dataset over Peru (PISCOp), for the 1981–2019 period at ~10 km (0.1°) spatial resolution for the entire continental Peruvian territory. The <strong>PISCOp</strong> framework presents four main procedures: i) quality control, and ii) gap filling of raingauge datasets. Then, iii) spatial interpolation of daily and monthly rainfall using spatial predictors based on rainfall precipitation, radar-gauge merged precipitation climatologies, among others. After that, a iv) simple monthly correction factor applied to daily estimates. The dataset are update version 2.1.

本研究研制了覆盖秘鲁全部陆地领土的高分辨率逐日、逐月网格化降雨数据集（PISCOp），时间跨度为1981–2019年，空间分辨率约为10公里（0.1°）。<strong>PISCOp</strong> 构建流程包含四大核心步骤：其一为质量控制，其二为雨量站观测数据集的缺值插补；其三基于降雨实况、雷达-雨量站融合降水气候态等空间预测因子，开展逐日与逐月降雨的空间插值；其四为采用简单逐月校正因子对逐日降雨估算结果进行校正。本数据集为2.1版本更新版。
