Spectral library of minerals for Aktogay mine field

This dataset presents a field-based spectral library consisting of 22 representative rock samples collected from porphyry copper prospective zones in Kazakhstan. The spectra were measured using a portable ArcOptix Rocket FT-NIR spectrometer in the wavelength range of approximately 900–2500 nm under natural field conditions. The spectral files are provided in .txt format and include wavelength vs. transmission values. A metadata table with sample descriptions, mineralogy, and collection context is included as a .csv file. The purpose of this library is to support remote sensing analysis, geologic mapping, and mineral identification, especially in underrepresented porphyry copper bearing terrains.
