According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, approximately 70 percent of the Indonesian respondents stated that they had not used mobile dating apps. The same survey found that the main reason why they had not used mobile dating apps was because they thought that such apps were not suited to Indonesian culture.
