Chelonia mydas Raw sequence reads

This project contains whole-genome sequencing data from two Chelonia mydas (green sea turtle) individuals: one normal (CH-NORMS1) and one abnormal (Ab-NormS2). The raw Illumina paired-end reads (151 bp) were generated to benchmark five variant calling tools (DeepVariant, GATK, FreeBayes, VarScan, and BCFTools) against the chromosome-level reference genome (rCheMyd1.pri.v2, RefSeq accession GCF_015237465.2). These data support comparative genomic studies, conservation genetics, and the evaluation of variant calling pipelines in non-model species.
