Modeling alcohol exposure in gestation and adolescence

We developed a model of double-hit alcohol exposure with one experience prenatally and the other in the adolescent period in C57BL/6J mice and Sprague Dawley rats. Animals were tested for behavioral effects in young adulthood and brains were assessed for effects on choline acetyltransferase-expressing neurons.
