NTSEQS: catalogue of non-tectonic earthquakes in Central-Eastern Italy, version 2.0

Quarry explosions and other non-tectonic seismic signals can contaminate seismic catalogues, especially in areas where dense seismic networks allow to detect low energy events. The catalogue Non-Tectonic Source EarthQuakeS (NTSEQS) collect a list of earthquakes like quarry blasts and other anomalous signals in Central-Eastern Italy, an area with a high rate of events of this kind (7901 were detected in the 1996-2021 period). The resulting catalogue NTSEQS is a useful tool for anyone wanting to carry out a careful analysis of the tectonic seismicity of Central-Eastern Italy.
