ASH1L guards <i>cis</i>-regulatory elements against cyclobutane pyrimidine dimer induction

ChIP-seq (H3K4me3, H3K27ac, H3K4me1, carboxyl-terminal domain of ASH1L) and HS-damage-seq (to capture CPDs) were performed on wildtype or ASH1L knockout U2OS cells that were either unirradiated or left to recover 0 h or 3 h after UV irradiation (20 J/m2). For bigBed files corresponding to ChIP-seq experiments, peaks were called in a majority of biological replicates. For bigWig tracks, signal tracks are the average signal across three biological replicates. Predicted U2OS enhancers were extracted from the EnhancerAtlas 2.0 database. All tracks are confined to a 10 Mbp region on chr2 (hg38).
