The survey examines attitudes towards climate protection and the evaluation of political measures for climate protection on a quarterly basis. In the 1st quarter of 2021, questions on mobility formed a thematic focus.<br>Means of transport used; frequency of use of different means of transport in the Corona pandemic; planned car purchase in the next 12 months; types of vehicles considered; need for reforms in transport and mobility; concerns about the possible consequences of climate change; Assessment of current political measures for climate protection (appropriate, go too far or do not go far enough); informedness about what one can personally contribute to climate protection; assessment of CO2 pricing in the areas of transport and buildings as a climate protection measure; assessment of government subsidies for the purchase of electric and hybrid cars as a climate protection measure. Demography: sex; age; highest level of education; occupation; household size; number of persons in the household aged 14 and over; party preference; voter eligibility; household net income (grouped); survey by mobile or landline. Additionally coded: respondent number; weighting factor; interview date; city size (BIK regions); federal state; survey area west/east.
