Quantitative proteomics of chicken spleen

Colibacillosis is caused by infection with APEC, which will lead to respiratory tract infection, intestinal and extraintestinal infection and even systemic infection in poultry of all ages. The death of poultry resulted from colibacillosis leads to the reduction of broiler and egg production, which caused huge economic losses to the poultry industry. In this study, quantitative proteome can reveal the regulation of protein expression and related pathways in the process of APEC infection. Moreover, the search for biomarkers of infection and inflammation is helpful for the prevention and clinical treatment of colibacillosis.
