GeoChemAD is an open-source geochemical anomaly detection benchmark dataset developed by a team from the University of Western Australia, covering soil, sediment and rock samples from multiple regions across Western Australia. This dataset includes 8 subsets with a total of 45,921 sample points, covering elements such as gold (Au), copper (Cu), tungsten (W) and nickel (Ni), with spatial scales ranging from 6 km² to 8,500 km². The data is derived from the government geological survey project (GSWA DMPE), and has undergone coordinate standardization and outlier retention processing, supporting multi-element correlation analysis and spatial interpolation in mineral exploration. Its core value lies in addressing the issues of closed data and single regional scope in existing research, providing a standardized test platform for the generalization evaluation of unsupervised anomaly detection models.
