<b>Objectives</b><br>To examine fine-scale and landscape-level spatial effects of vegetation on vertebrate species.<br><b>Sampling</b><br>The quadrats dataset were 10x10m quadrats to produce a spatial landscape-scale layer of the different variables to analyze the lizard transect data and the scat data from the dogs. This was a "landscape effect" that could impact lizard activity.<br>The microsite was to test fine-scale factors that impacted lizard activity including the shrub removals.<b>Metadata</b><br>Metadata are provided in the associated .csv file. Panoche Hills is located in the Western Region of the San Joaquin Valley in California.<br>(36°41.776′ N, 120°47.886′ W, at 650 m above sea level).
