广东脐带血造血干细胞库

广东省脐血库于1997年开始筹建，于2006年6月获得由中华人民共和国卫生部和广东省卫生厅颁发的《血站执业许可证》（粤卫脐带血库字[2006]第1号），并分别于2009年5月、2012年5月、2015年5月再次通过执业验收。作为全国现有的七家脐血库之一，广东省脐血库多年来严格遵照卫生部及省卫生厅的相关规定及技术规范运营，是国家政策规划、卫生部批准验收、省卫生厅督导监管、省内唯一合法运营的脐带血造血干细胞库。
广东省脐血库已在广东省内21个城市的180多家医院建立脐带血采集网络，1998年～2007年，广东省脐血库设置在广东省妇幼保健院内；2008年，在广州科学城扩建的新库投入使用，目前总面积15000平方米，储存能力150万份。目前，公共脐血已储备超过1.5万份；自体库有偿保存，仅为自用。公共库与自体库储存量每年以2倍的速度不断增长。截止至2017年1月31日，广东省脐血库累计库存量达到328248份。

Guangdong Cord Blood Bank initiated its preparatory work in 1997, and obtained the Blood Station Practice License (Yue Wei Umbilical Cord Blood Bank No. 1 [2006]) issued by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China and the Guangdong Provincial Health Department in June 2006. It passed the practice acceptance inspections again in May 2009, May 2012 and May 2015 respectively. As one of the seven currently operating cord blood banks in China, Guangdong Cord Blood Bank has strictly operated in accordance with relevant regulations and technical specifications issued by the Ministry of Health and the provincial health department over the years. It is the only legally operated umbilical cord blood hematopoietic stem cell bank in Guangdong Province, which is approved under national policy planning, authorized by the Ministry of Health through acceptance inspections, and supervised by the Guangdong Provincial Health Department.

Guangdong Cord Blood Bank has established umbilical cord blood collection networks in more than 180 hospitals across 21 cities in Guangdong Province. From 1998 to 2007, the bank was located in Guangdong Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital. In 2008, the newly expanded facility in Guangzhou Science City was put into use. Currently, it has a total area of 15,000 square meters and a storage capacity of 1.5 million units. The public cord blood bank has stored over 15,000 units; the autologous cord blood bank provides paid preservation services exclusively for the client's own use. The storage volumes of both the public and autologous cord blood banks are doubling annually. As of January 31, 2017, the cumulative inventory of Guangdong Cord Blood Bank reached 328,248 units.
