Labelled Pupils in the Wild (LPW)
Labelled Pupils in the Wild (LPW)
Labelled Pupils in the Wild (LPW) dataset was created by the Perceptual User Interface Group of the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. It includes 66 high-quality, high-frame-rate eye region videos with a total of 130,856 frames, and is designed for the development and evaluation of pupil detection algorithms. The dataset covers 22 participants from diverse ethnic backgrounds, with varying indoor and outdoor lighting conditions and natural gaze direction distributions. During the dataset creation process, videos were recorded at different locations to ensure the diversity and authenticity of the dataset. The LPW dataset is primarily intended to address the challenges of pupil detection in unconstrained environments, particularly for head-mounted eye trackers.
