The SpikeCityPCL dataset was developed by Peng Cheng Laboratory for research into visual reconstruction methods based on spiking cameras. This dataset aims to address the visual reconstruction challenges faced by spiking cameras in high-speed and high-dynamic-range environments, particularly for extracting texture and structural information from both static and dynamic scenes. Built upon the Spike Stability Theorem, the dataset is generated by simulating the integration and firing rules of the human visual system. The application scope of SpikeCityPCL covers advanced vision tasks including image reconstruction, object recognition, depth estimation and other related advanced vision tasks, with the goal of providing a foundational resource for high-speed and high-quality visual reconstruction using spiking cameras.
