ESI-CorA: SARS-CoV-2 Wastewater Surveillance

<p>The Emergency Support Instrument - Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater (ESI-CorA) project ran from November 2021 to March 2023. Twenty wastewater treatment plant sites were selected in Germany, which started monitoring SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater in stages in February 2022. The central goal in ESI-CorA was the preparation and implementation of the nationwide pilot phase for the monitoring of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants in wastewater.
