Research progress of Runx3 regulating the differentiation and function of tissue-resident memory CD8+T cells
收藏资源简介:
The Runt-associated transcription factors (Runxs) family is involved in the regulation of lineage-specific genes, cell identity, and function throughout development. Among them, Runx3 plays an important role in the differentiation of a variety of immune cells. Runx3 can not only regulate the lineage selection of CD8+ T cells in thymus T cell development, but also play an important role in the differentiation and function of peripheral CD8+ T subsets. A growing body of research has shown that tissue-resident memory CD8+ T (TRM) are highly activated T lymphocytes that are not detected in circulation but are stably present in a wide range of tissues in humans and mice, capable of providing a rapid and effective response to reinfection. At the same time, TRM exists in various tumor tissues, including lung cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, etc., and plays an important role in tumor immune surveillance. This paper briefly reviewed the regulation of Runx3 on TRM cell differentiation and function, especially the regulation of Runx3 on TRM cells in tumors, so as to provide theoretical reference for subsequent relevant studies.
