Dataset for the study "Bird biodiversity in roadside vegetation in Central European farmland"

The file contains the data on bird counts recorded along the focal roads in Czechia (sheet "Bird counts"), bird species abbreviations used in the count datafile (sheet "Bird species abbreviations"), and environmental variables describing the roads where the bird counts were conducted (sheet "Environmental variables"). The latter sheet includes: site identifier (column A); road identifier (B); latitude (C) and longitude (D) of the site's centroid; total area of roadside vegetation (E); area of woody vegetation (F); woody plant species recordings (presences - 1 or absences - 0) at each study site (G-Z); (vi) land cover types relative cover (%) around study sites (AA-AF).
