This dataset is the Polar/UVI images near auroral substorm onset times. There are 1982 file folders, each containing the UVI images observed within the 30 minutes before onset and 10 minutes after onset. These images were taken by the Polar satellite over the northern hemisphere from March, 1996 to February, 2000.
