This dataset contains recordings from mouse auditory cortex and barrel cortex. Neurons were classified as inhibitory/excitatory based on spike waveform ([1]) and separated into putative morphological classes based on parameters fitted to reproduce the recorded EAP spatial pattern. On each movie: -waveform of the extracellular action potential (EAP) recorded on the electrode array (displaying the channel with the largest amplitude) -EAP spatial pattern: heatmap showing the strength of the signal recorded on the electrode array. According to simulations signal will be stronger in front of the soma, thick dendrites/axons and branching point on dendritic arbour. -EAP(t): heatmap showing the action potential recorded at each time step.
