Co-transcriptional RNA structure probing data for the E. coli alx and mntP riboswitches.

This work investigated the co-transcriptional folding of the alx and mntP Mn-sensing riboswitches using a published method for high-throughput RNA Structure probing (TECprobe-VL method). These data were used to piece together how the alx and mntP RNA structures are affected by Mn and a shift from neutral to alkaline pH. As a control, we performed RNA structure probing on T7-synthesized, equilibrium refolded riboswitch RNA to evaluate post-transcriptional vs. co-transcriptional RNA structure changes. The BioSamples associated with this BioProject contain all raw sequencing data for both co-transcriptional and equilibrium refolded RNA structure probing experiments.
