High-Throughput Sequencing of the 5S-IGS nuclear DNA in Viola sect- Melanium (Violaceae)

This fileset reports intra-genomic, intra- and inter-individual variation of the multycopy, nuclear encoded 5S rDNA region in four <i>Viola </i>(<i>V. tricolor</i>, <i>V. arvensis</i>, <i>V. kitaibeliana</i>, <i>V. hymettia</i>) and outgroup species of section Melanium. The gathered data were obtained with Pair-end Illumina sequencing (2x300 bp).The Fileset includes:Dataset File S1 = the sample list with details about sampling, taxonomy, vouchers, ID, growing habitats;Dataset File S2 = a description of the working dataset, including pre-processing steps, sample distribution in each sample, sequence structural features.Also included are the multiple alignments (FASTA format) of the total (sequence abundance &gt;5) and a filtered (989 sequences with abundance &gt;25 and length &gt;280 bp) dataset, and the derived phylogenetic tree (TREES format).<br><br>
