WwLateral represents subsidiary pipework to transport wastewater from buildings and properties to the Wastewater pipe network. The Wastewater network conveys sewage from properties to treatment plants for treatment and disposal. Wastewater laterals generally only service one property, in contrast to wastewater pipes which generally service more than one property (e.g. a whole street). It is spatially abstracted to a line and is an edge on the Wastewater network. IDS-compliant WwLateral data will be inserted via the WwLateralStage table. When deleted or edited, the record is Archived. A snapshot of the feature record, before it is edited, will be sent to the archive table immediately prior to the first edit of the day for that record. WwLateral assets are represented in SAP as equipment objects. Entity type: Thing.
