Evaluation of the level of knowledge and applicability of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health

ABSTRACT The research was conducted with the objective of evaluating the level of knowledge and applicability of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health by health professionals of the city of Natal (RN). This is a cross-sectional study, which evaluated 186 health professionals, through a semistructured electronic questionnaire, composed of questions about the level of knowledge regarding classification and its applicability. It was concluded that the health professionals had little knowledge about the tool. Furthermore, those who reported knowing it, made little use of it because of difficulties to their understanding and application.
