Immunofluorescence Dataset of Developmental Marker Expression During Neckteeth Formation in *Daphnia pulex*

This dataset comprises fluorescence microscopy images from an exploratory immunofluorescence study investigating the expression of selected developmental and proliferation markers during predator-induced neckteeth formation in *Daphnia pulex*. The experiment was conducted in 2017 as a method development and proof-of-concept study at a time when *Daphnia pulex* was a non-model organism for immunohistochemistry-based developmental analyses. Consequently, both biological interpretation and laboratory protocols required adaptation from established vertebrate and invertebrate systems. This dataset represents a curated subset of representative images selected to illustrate typical staining patterns, imaging quality, and experimental conditions rather than the complete raw dataset generated during the study.
