Thailand (2013): FoQus study on understanding HIV testing, care, and treatment uptake among men who have sex with men in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Round 1.
收藏资源简介:
PSI/Thailand seeks to gain an in-depth understanding of sexual behavior and perception of HIV prevention and care and treatment services that are available to MSM in Bangkok and Chiang Mai Provinces. The study objectives include to build one or more character archetypes of general MSM and MSM who live with HIV, identify beliefs to reinforce and beliefs to change related to decisions to test for HIV and to access care and treatment services, and gain an in-depth understanding of barriers to getting HIV testing and consistently receiving HIV care and services. Between July and August 2013, PSI/Thailand conducted a FoQus for qualitative segmentation study to gather information in these areas. Semi-structured interviews that included spoken narratives were used to collect data. The study was conducted among MSM aged 18 to 35 in Bangkok and Chiang Mai Province.
