Results data for: "Breaking the Natural Gas Subsidy Trap: Implications for Bolivia's Power System Transition to 2040"

This dataset contains the optimisation results from the PyPSA-Earth-BO power system model used in Breaking the Natural Gas Subsidy Trap: Implications for Bolivia's Power System Transition to 2040, submitted to Energy Economics (2026). It includes network results for 6 main scenarios optimising the Bolivian power system over the period 2024–2040, covering base, sudden cost, and gradual cost scenarios with and without net-zero emissions constraints, as well as 18 sensitivity analyses across discount rates, gas prices, weather data, and technology costs. The PyPSA-Earth-BO model is available at the GitHub repository linked under Software.
