RNA Seq expression profiles of guts collected from Asian longhorned beetle larvae feeding on a nutrient rich artificial diet compared to larvae feeding in sugar maple trees. This comparison enabled us to identify genes that were associated with woody tissue degradation and nutrient scavenging/recycling.
