Lates calcarifer pooled BAC sequencing and assembly

Lates calcarifer pooled BAC sequencing and assembly for LG2 The data for this project was obtained from the sequencing of pooled BAC clones originating from a portion of the genome only . The aim of this study was to test the strategy of sequencing pooled BACs using NGS technology. We intend to propose this as a strategy that can be used by labs that have BAC libraries, as a way to improve genome assemblies by gap filling.
