LstG Skyfall mapping Uppvidinge countryside

Low-point mapping showing trapped low-points larger than 400 square meters in the landscape 500 meters outside urban areas. The depth of the low points is divided into 7 depth classes 0.5-10, 10-20, 21-30, 31-50, 51-70, 71-100 and 101-350 cm deep. The material is based on the cadastral survey with 2 meters resolution but has been generalized to a resolution of 10 meters. Skyfall mapping is made after the first version of Jönköping's "Skyfall mapping in GIS - Working method and method, Message No. 2014:28 method for skyfall mapping" and is based on Lantmäteriet's new elevation model, buildings in the property map and lakes and watercourses. This is a topographical analysis that does not take into account soil infiltration capacity or already built-in measures, such as road drums or culverts. The enclosed areas have been developed with a GIS tool that identifies enclosed areas and fills them with water. The low points are filled up to the edge with water if they match the criteria in the search area. The result is not linked to a particular rain so it is not really a torrential rain map. The data generally gives an initial overview of possible problem areas.
