Dataset and code for"Performance of the 2024 FUNDICU Criteria in Non-Neutropenic ICU Patients: Risk of Misclassifying True Invasive Pulmonary Aspergillosis as Colonization"

This repository contains the dataset and R code associated with the manuscript "Performance of the 2024 FUNDICU Criteria in Non-Neutropenic ICU Patients: Risk of Misclassifying True Invasive Pulmonary Aspergillosis as Colonization". ## Dataset (Dataset.xlsx) - Sheet1: Clinical, laboratory, mycological, radiological, treatment, and outcome variables for 242 non-neutropenic ICU patients with positive Aspergillus findings. - Group 0: True colonization (n=100) - Group 1: FUNDICU-IPA (n=119) - Group 2: Clinical IPA (n=23) - Sheet2: Microbiological culture results from respiratory specimens and bloodstream. ## Code (code.txt) R scripts (version 4.3.1) for: - Table 2: Comparison of Clinical IPA vs. True colonization (Mann-Whitney U, Fisher exact, Hodges-Lehmann MD, Risk Ratio, Risk Difference) - Figure 2: Kaplan-Meier survival curves with log-rank test and number-at-risk table - Figure 3: Forest plot of effect sizes across four clinical domains Key packages: readxl, dplyr, survival, ggplot2, patchwork ## Usage Data were collected retrospectively from the ICU of The First Affiliated Hospital of USTC (2017-2025). All patient identifiers have been removed. The code requires R ≥4.3.1 and the listed packages.
