Interoperable INSPIRE View Service: Human Health And Safety/Strategic noise maps for the Potsdam metropolitan area 2012 (WMS-HH-LAERMKPDM2012)

The Interoperable INSPIRE Presentation Service (WMS) Health and Safety provides an overview of the isophonic maps in the agglomeration of Potsdam in accordance with Directive 2002/49/EC (Environmental Noise Directive). It calls on EU Member States to assess and combat environmental noise. As a result, until 30 June 2007 were under 1. Stage to develop strategic noise maps. These are to be revised and updated in a five-year tournament. The data at issue include the 2. Level of EU noise mapping (2012). The isophonic cards will be available for 1. Road traffic noise, 2. Industrial and commercial noise and 3. Rail traffic noise (tram only). As required by the BImSchV, the two noise indices LDEN and LNight are presented. According to the INSPIRE data specification Human Health (D2.8.III.5_v3.0), the contents of the card are INSPIRE compliant.
