The Gaia DR2 Source Catalogue contains positions and brightnesses for 1.693 billion stars, including distances and proper motions for more than 1.3 billion stars. For more details, see the Gaia documentation, particularly the Source Catalogue columns description. This dataset or service is made available by the Infrared Science Archive (IRSA) at IPAC, which is operated by the California Institute of Technology under contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
