The High-value Patent Determination Dataset for Clopidogrel mainly covers valid invention patents and utility model patents related to clopidogrel from the global patent database. A proprietary algorithm is employed to score, classify and evaluate the patent data for patent value determination. By comparing the multi-dimensional data within the dataset, it helps enterprises avoid redundant R&D activities and intellectual property infringement, and assists decision-makers in making rational judgments on patents intended for capital contribution, transfer, licensing or financing. This dataset is developed based on the entropy weight method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP), combining quantitative and qualitative research methods. From the perspective of patent value, the target layer is patent value, and the indicator layer is divided into three first-level indicators: legal value, technical value and economic value. These first-level indicators are further decomposed into second-level indicators: legal value indicators include patent grant period, patent maintenance duration, number of simple patent family members, number of cited patents (patents referenced in the patent specification), number of non-patent references, and number of litigation cases involving the patent; technical value indicators include number of claims, number of inventors, number of patents citing this patent (forward citation count), number of IPC classifications, patent type, and award type; economic value indicators include remaining valid years, number of current applicants, number of licensing transactions, number of pledge transactions, and strategic emerging industry classification. Based on the first-level and second-level indicators, a three-dimensional matrix and patent evaluation criteria are established. The weights calculated via the entropy weight method are used to compute each dimensional value, with equal weighting assigned to the three dimensions. The sum of the three dimensional values constitutes the final patent value score. The IF function is applied to classify patent value tiers: patents with a score above 10 are categorized as high-value patents, those with scores between 6 and 10 are important patents, and those below 6 are general patents. This dataset provides technical references and guidance for R&D personnel in the clopidogrel-related field, and offers decision-making support for enterprises regarding R&D strategies.
