Data Content: This dataset summarizes the ranges of Mg and Zn isotopic compositions of potassic magmas, lamprophyres, intraplate alkaline basalts, and picrites related to carbonate cycling in subduction zones (see references cited). Based on these data, mixed model diagrams of subduction zone carbonates (including data plots and simulation figures) are proposed, and parameter tables for carbonate-mantle mixing models are provided.
Data Source: Isotope Laboratory, China University of Geosciences (Beijing).
Data Processing: Qualified data were collected from peer-reviewed published literature.
Data Quality: All data were inspected to ensure their reliability and scientific significance before being compiled into plots; the tables included in the dataset are the parameter tables for carbonate-mantle mixing models.
Data Applications: This dataset illustrates the carbonate cycling processes in subduction zones, which are divided into three cyclic stages based on varying depths, as well as the approximate ranges of Mg and Zn isotopic compositions of mantle-derived rocks generated by different subduction processes.
