THEIA is the terrestrial surface data service center of the French National Geoscience Data Center (Data Terra). As an integral component of Data Terra, it primarily provides access to environmental data related to continental surfaces and integrates scientific expertise, with a focus on five core thematic areas: the cryosphere, continental waters, land cover, agricultural systems and biodiversity, as well as imaging and radiometry. Leveraging its distributed processing capabilities and a network of scientific expertise centers, the center provides terrestrial surface-related data products and services for researchers and public institutions.
