Wind energy on land; production and capacity per province

This table contains figures per province on the capacity of wind turbines and the realised electricity production. The data does not include wind turbines in the sea. Data available from: 1990, annual Status of the figures: This table provides definitive figures up to 2020 and further provisional figures for 2021. Amendments as of 15 December 2022: The figures for 2021 have been updated. The 2020 figures have been revised on the basis of newly obtained information. Amendments as of June 2022: Further preliminary figures for 2021 have been added. The 2020 figures have been revised on the basis of newly obtained information. This results in a small difference in the total installed capacity and electricity production in 2020 with the national tables. In the breakdowns by province, the biggest differences occur with the province of Zuid-Holland. When will there be new figures: Further preliminary figures for the previous year appear each year in June. These figures will then be revised in December and remain more provisional. Final figures appear in December in second year after the year under review.
