The data is sourced from planning documents issued by various provinces in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region, including "Development Plan for Characteristic Agricultural Product Bases in the Tibet Plateau (2015–2020)". It covers four core characteristic agricultural products: highland barley, yak, sheep and wolfberry, and realizes the spatialization of major characteristic agricultural products at the county level. The temporal coverage of the dataset is 2015–2020, which aligns with the planning and construction timelines of characteristic agriculture specified in the source provincial planning documents.
