Fate and behaviour of engineered nanoparticles in aqueous environments

The field of nanoecotoxicology has seen a steady increase in experimental data recently; yet, there is a lack of accessible nano databases for efficient analysis. The meta-data analysis and systematic review (MDASR) process, which makes use of secondary data extracted from literature reviews, was considered for developing this database. This process adhered to the guidelines of "Preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses" (PRISMA). GetData Graph Digitizer v.2.24 software (http://getdata-graph-digitizer.com/) was applied for extracting quantitative data embedded in figures. The identified inputs in this dataset include key information on the physical-chemical properties, water chemistry properties, and exposure conditions. These include shape, size, coating, ZP, solubility, and water chemistry factors such as NOM (dissolved organic carbon (DOC), total dissolved carbon (TOC), IS, pH, conductivity, and temperature, among others.
